Private John McKergin: discharge papers
Private John McKergin, Service No. 1130, joined the North Irish Horse on 4 September 1914 and arrived in France as part of D Squadron on 1 May 1915. He returned home on 24 February 1916 and was discharged eight months later. His discharge certificate and certificate of character (front and reverse) are shown below.
