Private William Patrick Stuart

Private William Patrick Stuart, 9th (North Irish Horse) Battalion, Royal Irish Fusiliers, Service Nos 2312 (NIH); 41598 (RIF). Born Ballymacarrett, County Down. Enlisted Barrow, Lancashire. Residence Belfast. Son of Andrew and Mary Stuart of 6 New Bond Street, Belfast. Died of wounds on 30 March 1918, aged 29. Commemorated at Ham British Cemetery, Muille-Villette, Somme, France, Villers St Christophe Churchyard Memorial 29 (known to have been buried in Villers St Christope Churchyard, but the grave was not found when the burials there were consolidated into the Ham British Cemetery). Inscription reads:
