Carrickfergus War Memorial

 

The memorial stands next to the Marine Highway, Carrickfergus, County Antrim. It includes a commemoration of the North Irish Horse in the First World War, and its sole Victoria Cross recipient, Richard Annesley West. Standing nearby is a Mark VII Churchill tank in the colours of the North Irish Horse tank regiment in the Second World War.
