Trooper Albert Richards: 'Xmas 1915'

 

 

One of a series of hand-drawn postcards by Trooper Albert E. V. Richards of the 10th Royal Hussars (Service No. 1936), addressed to Miss M. Rust, The Empress Club, Piccadilly, London W. It shows the cap badge of the 10th Royal Hussars and reads:

For comfort, just enough of wealth;

For all thy life, the best of health;

Come many joys, all sorrows flee;

And last, thine own wish wish I thee.
