Private Rennie Blackburn

 

The background of this man is not known, but he was probably from Lancashire, England.

Rennie Blackburn enlisted in the Hussars of the Line between 17 May and 12 July 1915 (No.29448). Posted to the North Irish Horse, he embarked for France between 1916 and 1918. Nothing more has been discovered about his military service during the war.

On 28 February 1919 he was demobilised and transferred to Class Z, Army Reserve.
