Private M. Dickson

 

The background of this North Irish Horseman is not known at present, other that he was born in 1884.

Dickson enlisted in the North Irish Horse at Belfast on 10 August 1914 (No.977 – later recorded as Corps of Hussars No.71182). He was 5' 8" tall, had a sallow complexion, brown hair and blue eyes.

He deserted from the regiment's base depot at Antrim on 7 December 1914.
