Private Joseph Gibson

Joseph Gibson enlisted in the North Irish Horse in November 1915 (Service No.1966). He arrived in France as a reinforcement in 1916 or 1917. In September 1917 he was transferred the 9th Battalion Royal Irish Fusiliers (Service No.41413) and was posted to A Company. Following the German offensive in March 1918 he was listed as missing. It was later learned that he had been made a prisoner of war.
