Major Emerson Crawford Herdman
Emerson Crawford Herdman (shown here as a Lieutenant), was one of the original officers of the North Irish Horse when it was formed in July 1908. He embarked for France as a Captain of 'A' Squadron on 17 August 1914. By the beginning of 1918 he was no longer serving in France.
